What counts as a page?
Any HTML page crawled by the scanner — including your homepage, interior pages, and any HTML linked from them, up to your plan limit.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Just enter your URL and email. We verify your address and deliver the report — no account required for a single scan.
What does Growth include that Starter does not?
Growth scans up to 500 pages instead of 50, and adds white-label reports (your company name, logo and brand colour on every HTML and PDF report) and signed-in scanning for members-only pages. Deep Scan, the full WCAG 2.2 checklist, the footnoted PDF report and score history are included on every scan.
How does this compare with subscription scanners?
Most scanners are sold as annual subscriptions: roughly $25 a month for Pope Tech, $500 a year for Deque axe DevTools Pro, and quote-only (an estimated $11,200 a year) for Siteimprove, from each vendor’s public pages in October 2026. WCAGScan is pay per scan, so you pay only when you need a report, and monthly monitoring is optional. See the full comparison.
How does monthly monitoring work?
Your first scan runs as soon as you subscribe. After that we scan the same site each time your monthly payment renews and email you the report, with your score change and the issues fixed or new since the previous month. Cancel from your account at any time; scans continue until the end of the month you have paid for.
What if the scan fails?
If a scan fails to complete due to an error on our end, we will re-run it or issue a full refund.
Is the report a legal compliance certificate?
No. Automated scanning identifies a substantial range of issues but cannot guarantee full ADA or WCAG legal compliance. Reports are a tool to guide remediation.
